Hey Paso Fino Lovers – I’m Kay Reeves, the owner of Wild Rose Paso Fino. It delights me to share my love of horses with you and I thank you for visiting our site. Here’s a little about me and our farm. We’re situated just a few miles from a small town in Central Alabama-- Troy. Located on Highway 87, our farm is home to cropland, timber, lakes full of fish and our Paso Fino horses.
I’ve always loved horses, but was a little frightened by their size. About six years ago, my husband wanted us to start riding together. He bought me my first Paso and I couldn’t stop there. My passion for the breed has grown by leaps and bounds since that time. I started taking riding lessons with Diego Bravo of Ocala School of Equestrian Arts in 2004 and have continued my equine education since that time. In 2005, I acquired my stallion, Calyspo El Classico, and his first foal has been under saddle for just over two months, which warms my heart. I plan to show her during the 2010 show year. I am very excited about showing Calyspo’s first. Can you tell I’m extremely proud of our breeding program at Wild Rose Paso Fino? |
